Please pray for my mom

My mother, Ruth, is going to receive her first chemo-therapy treatment today. The doctors consider this an essential treatment, even though they removed all the cancer surgically. So please pray that she will make it through all right. My mom is taking all of this really well; she is a heroine of the Christian faith to me, but I just pray that the Lord will continue to free her from cancer. She is currently a youthful looking 62 years old.

Marty! I didn't know you were in DC! We wondered where you'd gone to! I will be praying for your mom! By the way, those old pictures are so neat! I also love looking at old photos...even if the people aren't related to me. It is so neat though, to see pics of our ancestors...makes me feel like I'm taking a bit of a trip back into their era.
Well take care, Marty, and Happy Easter--Christ is indeed arisen!! :)

Thanks for your prayers! Yes, I'll be back east until the middle of August. I'll be moving down to Richmond in two weeks. Today it is pouring rain--just one of those days when I especially wish I was back in Moscow reading a book! My boss wants us all to make at least one sale today even though it's raining and if we do, we get free lunch tomorrow. Happy Easter to you as well.
